Left luggage

Beitrag von Kdizzle » 09.02.2019 10:23

Hi there,

The Fanladen have kindly sorted me my mate tickets for the game against Aue next week. We will have to come straight from the airport to pickup up our tickets in time (11am). So we were hoping there might be somewhere we can leave our bags before the game (couple of small rucksacks). I know we could go back to to Hamburg HBF and use the left luggage there but is there anything closer to the stadium?

Thanks 😀

next to the fanladen there is "gepäckaufbewahrung" (or "gepäckabgabe"?) where you can leave your luggage for free. just look out for the sign & join the queue.
don´t forget to pick up the stuff soon after the match (1 hour i think)

Definitely best place for having a drink is "Jolly Roger" in the Budapester Str., just a stone's throw from Millerntor. It's the place to go for the fan scene and there are always many dudes from abroad who visit for a match.
Another nice place is "Shebeen" just around the corner at Paulinenplatz. On the other side of Paulinenplatz you can get all kinds of fast food at "Kleine Pause", and there's also a thai fastfood place and italian restaurants around.
A good kebab place you'll find in "Tandur" at Feldstr. and really good and cheap (choose your own toppings) pizza you can get at "Pauli Pizza" in Talstr. but they open at 12pm, so this might be too short for a prematch snack.
On the way to "Pauli Pizza" there's a coffee shop called "Kandie Shop", they serve all kinds of coffee and hot beverages, bagels, croissants, sandwiches and (also vegan) cakes.

All named places are not more than a 5-10 minutes walk from the stadium and you'll find Sankt Pauli scarfs/jerseys/stickers on the wall in most of them.

Enjoy your stay!

Sorry for offtopic. But because of my f*cking bad English I thought, after I saw the headline: "Wow, cool, one more new player for us!!" But it was sadly the wrong category...

This is mega useful means we won't be wasting time wondering around wondering where is worth going. Thanks!
